We had a GREAT Elkhorn Days!!!! The parade was a blast, the weather was HOT.....and their were tons of people.
We are having a hugh sale.......everything with a dot is 40% off. When people walk in and start looking the first thing they say is "What does the pink dot mean........what does the green dot mean?"
I just ran out of pink dots so I turned to green....when I ran out of green I went to orange.......when I ran out of orange I went to white.......then I started coloring the dots...You get the idea, despite the color it is 40% off. (We are very scientific here :)
Things are going quick but we still have a lot. We are getting ready for our new items, our new furniture line, and...............OUR 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!
Can you believe it.....on July 5th we will have been open for 1 Year!!!!
Come on by for the sale and more info will come on how we will celebrate our first year in business.

I am so excited about the new furniture line I am about to carry....SHERRILL Furniture. In the next couple of weeks we will be getting some different styles of chairs and couches in for all to see. There will also be hundreds of fabric samples to pick from.......YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!

So I have spent the last two weeks listening to many people of all walks of life tell me......"You need to get your facebook current" "You need to get your blog up and running" ....as if the thought of all of that not only made me feel as old as my mother, but it also gave me a migraine.
I am working my little fingers to the bone trying to do these two things........facebook and blogging. I am a designer, so not only do I have to come up with themes, color coordination, pictures, things I love.....I mean come on, this is going to be published for all to see.....I have to make a decision on how I want the world to see me, or at least the 56 people who "like" me on my facebook.....by the way thank you for liking me, I like you too.
Well I have started....I said started, not perfected. I am sitting here so proud of myself for adding pictures to my facebook and adding tabs to my blog.....and then; God love her....in walks Michele from the Garden Gallery...who is always trying to keep me on the path of success...and she tells me "You have to get on pinterest, you have to set up an account and start "pinning".... OMG does it ever stop???? Don't even get me started on tweeting....whatever that is???
So I have gotten on pinterest and I have been "pinning" for days, I am addicted as is everyone else supposedly.
The bottom line is this.......I am working diligently on all of the important social media marketing and hopefully I will become a natural. Please bare with me and keep "putting up" with me until I figure it
out :)

Our Ladies Weekend was a grand success!!
I wish I would have been here to be a part of the fun. I was in
Kansas City doing a wedding. Thank you so so much to my sister &
my niece for running the store during that crazy time and my mother
who always provides the best snacks.
Thank you to all who come out and support our
little community here
